As a video professional, I can edit, shoot, direct and produce, mostly on corporate/promotional video, or documentary projects.
I have experience running two video-related companies: Vidicrew, a video app and video editing agency, and The London Documentary Network (LDN), a community interest company (CIC) organising documentary events across London. With LDN, we are best known for our 36-hour filmmaking competition, Doc in a Day, of which I created the concept, and am a regular participant. You can see my entries and some of my other films on Vimeo here.
I am drawn to emotionally provocative films such as 'Roma' and 'Lost in Translation'. I also enjoy British comedy, notably comedy dramas, with in-depth character plots, such as Shane Meadows' 'This is England' 🏴
I like documentaries, particularly with a focus on improving the lives of others, notable favourites are 'Wasteland' and 'Undefeated'.
I have a HND in Media Production and a BSc in Professional Broadcast Techniques (from Salford University), and I have freelanced for over 10 years.
